For the past couple of posts, I have been telling you all about my tough, educational experience working in Japan. As I did so, I came across another blogger who had very similar experiences.
This girl was sassy, insightful, and refreshingly honest, with an incredible insight into the international experience. Her #multiculturalproblems, and her love/hate relationship with Japanese culture made me think, where has this woman been all my life?

Especially for my fellow East-Asia lovers, travel geeks, and cultural scholars, The Ruby Ronin is a highly recommended blog to follow. Author Mary is half Vietnamese and half Irish, with a penchant for Japan and China. She poses a ton of thoughtful questions about culture, covers her travels across the world, and talks about real topics like dating, working, and learning in Asia. Her blog provides a great outlook on what its like to live that "expat life."
Let's spread the love for learning about the Asian-American perspective ♡ Her chronicles show just how much fun learning about Asia can be, and how important it can be to open yourself up to Asian cultures. Check out her article on Working in Japan here, where she talks about a stunningly similar experience to my own about the truth of the Japanese workplace.
Best of luck,
