Hopefully all of you guys know my fellow Asian-American blogger, Angry Asian Man. If not, you must make the honest effort to go take a look at his hilarious site-- in the "ABOUT" section, he'll tell you that he's basically pointing out everything that's racist about our society, and... well, being angry about it. :D

Just scrolling through his short and sweet (and of course, angry) blog posts, you become much more aware of the issues, and maybe not so much issues, that are happening in America based on race. Angry Asian Man also provides interesting podcasts, and is the leader of an online racial movement called Angry Asian America.
What do Americans think of when they hear the word "Asian"? The answer to this question used to be, what? A nerd. Small, with skinny arms and thin eyes. Pants raised to the chest with glasses that were too big. Seeing someone like this, people would say "Wow, so Asian." ... WHAT? Right?
Why are Asians labeled as this effeminate, weak figure? It's because they are a threat. A silent threat. The model minority.
Now, thanks to this sort of Asian-American movement, this silent threat has become very much verbal. If Angry Asian Man has taught me anything, it has taught me that sometimes, we need to be angry. :) And also to "Keep it real with the rice fields."
